I came back from Denmark to this wonderful package from Ayesha Ziya! I’m sure everyone’s heard of this amazing brand but for those who haven’t, Ayesha Ziya is a fragrance company who pride themselves on their Middle Eastern expertise with unisex fragrances based around rich notes of Oud. Oud, otherwise known as Agarwood is renowned for being one of the most expensive woods in the world. Oud, is a well-known aphrodisiac, both in oil form and as incense, it is often described as “a sweet, deep but balanced fragrance”.
I was so excited when I received this beautiful rose gold watch! It brings out any outfit without over-powering it. Thank-you to House of Watches for gifting it to me. Make sure you visit their site and see what other great quality watches they offer!
This recipe I quickly threw together because an urgent dessert was needed when we had some guests over. It turned out a massive hit with everyone and is now my signature dessert, so I thought I’d share the “recipe” with you all!
Cake of your choice
1 tin of Ambrosia Devon Custard
1 tin of Sainsbury’s own brand custard
284ml tub of Elmlea double cream
Icing Sugar (to taste)
Madagascan Vanilla (to taste)
Biscuits of your choice (I used digestives)
Fruit to decorate
Cut the cake into thin slices and line the bottom of your serving dish.
Pour both tins of custard over the cake.
Add icing sugar and Madagascan Vanilla to the double cream and whip until a thick consistency.
Smooth the whipped cream over the custard, covering the whole dish.
Crush 4/5 biscuits and sprinkle over the cream, creating a layer of biscuit.
Finally decorate with a variety of fruit and ENJOY!
I hope you all enjoy this quick and easy recipe and would love to see your interpretations!
I’ve finally joined the Nikon crew! I was looking for a new camera to start my vlogging and after scouring the internet, high and low, I settled on the Nikon D5200.
Now I seriously understand the struggle that most bloggers/youtubers go through when choosing a new camera… There’s such a large range of cameras out there with so many functions, it seems impossible sometimes to choose just one. After reading MANY in-depth confusing reviews I found this Nikon DSLR to be the best bet. For all those wanting a new camera I’ll give you some key points that helped me decide on this camera.
Picture and Video Quality – when making Youtube videos and blogging, quality of images and video is key. This camera is 24MP and also records HD videos which is great for both OOTD’s and vlogs.
Usability – with a camera you want to be able to basically ‘point and shoot’ a photo but it’s also good to have manual control of specific features so that those with some knowledge of photography can use this camera as well as newbies.
Structure – with a DSLR you expect to have a heavier camera than say a compact digital or a bridge camera. However this camera is the perfect size and weight and also has a swivel screen so that even your selfies will be on POINT!
Price – Cameras nowadays can range from a hundred pound to a couple of thousand pounds! So when choosing a camera I feel it is good to combine high-end features with a good price point. This camera costs around £250-£320 so is at a good price point for a DSLR.
I can’t wait to start using this camera properly and be churning out some amazing OOTD’s! I hope this post helped you in narrowing down the millions of cameras out there to choose from. Please comment and subscribe, I would love to hear from you!
Honestly, this is the best photo editing app I have come across and trust me I’ve been through a few… Its definitely worth the 79p! I personally found Photoshop way too hard to use but this app called Enlight is so simple and easy to use all the big Youtubers are using it. It also gives you easy to follow tutorials to help you bring out the best in your photos.
We’ll start from the easy and simple menu. The first item is names “canvas.” It allows you to flip, crop and rotate a picture with the ultimate precision. Also you can skew your photo just in case it was taken at slightly the wrong angle. The re-fit feature lets you delete chunks out of the middle of a photo with ease. Then we see the image and filters tab where you can either manually fine-tune the lighting and composition of your photo or choose from a large range of natural looking effective filter that will change the whole feeling of your picture! What I love about this app is that everything can be fine-tuned and adjust exactly to how you want it. No questions asked!
My favourite item is the “tools” section. In this section you can seamlessly blend two photos to create an amazing effect. You can re-shape your photo to slim and contour any part of your picture to hide them imperfections we feel are present.
The usual doodle and text tools are present. The menu finishes with a “finalize” section so that we can frame or make a collage or even instafit our photos to use on Instagram.
You can then upload your photo to most social networks and save the picture in really high quality. This app is like multiple photo-editing apps all rolled into one, it is the new must-have in this digital age.
