Rejuvenating & tightening chocolate facial mask for tired & stressed skin – £11 – 50g

This face mask smells DIVINE! It rejuvenates and tones tired skin and it’s ingredients help to clear the skin without it felling to harsh. It contains: rhassoul clay which absorbs oils and impurities, tones and rejuvenates, milk powder which softens and smoothes, honey which is antibacterial, soothing, moisturising and cocoa powder which is full of vitamins and antioxidants. The mask can be made with water, milk or even green tea and is suitable for all skin types. Who wouldn’t want a face mask that smells good enough to eat?

Cinnamon & Coffee Candle – £14 – 145g

All JOIK’s products are hand made so I was so excited to test this Cinnamon & Coffee candle. At first I thought the scent would be too over-powering however it is the perfect balance between sweet and spicy and the smell is so rich sometimes you don’t even need to light it! It is a delicious blend of spicy cinnamon, creamy vanilla, sweet caramel and aromatic fresh brewed coffee. I recommend this for all uni students out there who love their candles, just like me!

Rejuvenating handcream with vitamins B3 and E, silk proteins & alpine herbal extracts

Enriched with vitamins B3 and E, hyaluronic acid, silk proteins and carefully selected herbal extracts, this hand cream is perfect for those rough and tired hands who need a bit of TLC. Offering natural protection from UV-rays this cream is great for all round protection from ageing and hydration. It blended perfectly into my skin without leaving a sticky residue. The only downside for me would be that the smell of the plant extracts is quite over-powering so I personally didn’t like the smell.

Rejuvenating eye contour cream with vitamins B3 and E, hyaluronic acid, cornflower and coffee extracts – £22 – 15ml

This eye cream hydrates the eyes and firms the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is great for brightening the eye area to give a more ‘wide-awake’ look to the face. Reducing puffy eyes and protecting from UV-rays, this eye cream is perfect for day or night use. I however, found it slightly too thick to use during the day so I only used it at night. It is great for those 9-5 days where we just need that extra wake-up boost.

Rejuvenating day cream with vitamins B3 and E, hyaluronic acid, red clover and field horsetail extracts – £28 – 50ml

This herbal enriched day-cream is great for hydrating the skin but not leaving a greasy residue and no dry patches. It diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin elasticity and protects it from environmental damage, evens skin-tone and reduces pigment spots. So it’s full of benefits however once again, the smell put me off but this was expected as all JOIK product are natural and hand-made.

I hope you enjoyed this in-depth review of JOIK and I would highly recommend their products due to them being natural and 100% hand-made. Visit their website and have a browse of all the other products they have to offer!
